Bins for Better Schools is one of the easiest ways for you to help local schools get extra funds.
Under this exciting initiative, when you decide to sign up to an annual Waste Management NZ Limited residential subscription, simply nominate the school you wish to support and Waste Management will give your nominated school up to $24 per annum. Nominated schools will receive $2 per month for 12 months if monthly direct debit is selected or $10 per annum if annual payment upfront is selected.
To sign up to this great initiative simply type your address in below, the school you’d like to support from the eligible list, select your residential service and eligible payment type.
The more customers who sign up under the Bins For Better Schools initiative, the more money the school could receive from Waste Management NZ Limited to help fund school trips, upgraded facilities or new state of the art equipment.

The promoter is Waste Management NZ Ltd. (“WMNZL”) 86 Lunn Avenue Auckland. Participation in this initiative is subject to the acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Bins For Better Schools initiative is only applicable to participants who subscribe to an eligible WMNZL residential annual subscription.
The Bins For Better Schools initiative runs for a 12 month period from commencement of an eligible WMNZL residential annual subscription.
Participation in the Bins For Better Schools initiative requires an applicable payment method. Applicable payment methods are monthly direct debit or annual payment in advance. Payment structure:
Direct Debit: Eligible school receives $2.00 per month for 12 months for each eligible WMNZL residential subscription participating in the Bins For Better Schools Initiative
Annual Payment: Eligible school receives $10.00 per annum for each eligible WMNZL residential subscription participating in the Bins For Better Schools Initiative
Renewal of participation is the responsibility of the participant. Intent of renewal is required from participants to WMNZL within 60 days of the WMNZL annual residential subscription renewal date.
The transfer of payments under the Bins For Better Schools Initiative to an alternative eligible school can only occur at point of initiative renewal. Notification period required from participant to WMNZL is the same as clause 5.
Payments made by WMNZL under the Bins For Better Schools initiative are GST exclusive.
Participants must be 16 years of age or over and a New Zealand citizen or resident to be eligible to participate in the initiative.
WMNZL reserves the right to verify the validity of any participant and reserves the right to disqualify any participant who WMNZL believes has tampered with the entry process, acted in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest or inappropriate manner or breaches these terms and conditions of participation.
WMNZL’s decision in respect of any dispute or interpretation of these terms and conditions is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant or third party.
WMNZL reserves the right to review, change any aspect of this initiative at any time without notice.
WMNZL reserves the right to seize payments under the Bins For Better Schools initiative if a participating school or WMNZL residential client withdraws from the initiative or cancels their WMNZL residential service.
All personal information collected will be held by WMNZL at 86 Lunn Avenue, Auckland. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may correct any of their details about them by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Participation into the initiative constitutes consent by the participants for WMNZL to use their names and photographs for publicity and marketing purposes (subject to the Privacy Act 1993).
