Waste Management wins gold on the road with ACC.

Gold Certification isn’t easily attained, it is only awarded to companies who run a fleet of more than 5 vehicles and who demonstrate the use of best practice safety management systems that allow for continuous improvement in on-road and workplace safety.
The upside is both financial and social. Not only is our heavy on-road fleet operating in a way which keeps our customers, the public and employees safer, we are also able to reduce our motor vehicle ACC levies by 10-40%; a significant cost saving for the business.
Thanks to the efforts of our Bay of Plenty HSE Advisor, Greg Gillard, Waste Management will retain this Gold certification for four years, and we’ll be continually improving our practices in that time to deliver even better and safer services to our customers.
